General Storyline

From here, in terms of OOC articles, I shall chronicle the plot of the Total Extinction, from our present day to the current story arc. In terms of time divisions, don't expect the articles to be chronological. I'll write out what's currently established, so we have an article form that easily surmi...

TE Ramblings

This is a move-over of all my OOC ramblings, some on specific topics in the verse, others on general sci-fi and storytelling. What follows for the first three or four or five or whatever posts from the original thread. It's rather funny, considering that, right after discussing pruning TE, I'm force...

Re: WarPac Aircraft of CSW

The grin that broke out on my face when the Berkut popped up can not be denied. The phrase "space station defense fighter" was just about epic, because that means Su-47s... in spaaace! I also noted that your 41 showed up at the end, the Night Moth. Excellent.

Longbow [Captain Sarah Grissom-McDonnell, Marine Corps] December 2nd, 2587 Shore of Loch Glenmorran, New Scotland Luna, Post-War [ I find her at the shooting range, easily blowing open target after target as they bob and weave at speeds of over a hundred miles an hour over four klicks away. Her sho...

War Interviews

I originally did a couple of these for National Novel Writing Month, but since I failed at reaching my 50k word goal, I decided to make an ongoing serial out of the concept. Here you will find interviews with those who experienced pivotal moments of the war and lived or may not have lived to talk ab...

Arc: Overheat

The current TE arc, set twenty years after Apoc, is still ongoing. Here would be chapter one. And so it begins. A couple notes: this kicks off the "next chapter", so to speak, of the TE saga. A couple old faces return, some later than others, but the two decades have mostly passed the reig...

There are indeed a couple of good poses for Bloodsucker- is it?- in there, with the firing Uzi pose and "Hai guys I've been shot in the chest" pose.

Moby? Can you find that bitching cool cover art for it you did again?
Throw "http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c102/ ... oby064.jpg" into the tags- I don't have mod powers over the form yet, so I can't put it in myself.

This new style is epic. This is the first time I've ever seen a profile/avatar wrap on the right, and not left/above. It's certainly nifty and sleek.

Re: Best Star Trek opening?!

Even if Voyager was horrible, I have incredibly fond memories of the theme song, because that was the main ST show that aired when I was a kid. The jump to warp at the end was beautiful.

And the Enterprise Opening should never be mentioned in polite conversation. It's mind-numbing.

Re: Arc: Apocalypse

Well, that was Apoc. It took me a full year to write, with two hundred and six pages at size twelve TNR, with 90,284 words. It was preceding by three fics- going backwards from Apoc- Phoenix Rising, the TE RPG (The Fifth Battle), and Liquid Phalanx. Cannonically, Apoc is the end of the original TE w...

Chapter 13: Total Extinction Section I: Brothers Halcyon’s eyes literally burned . As in, psionic flames flickered from the sockets. With the blink of an eye, he had crossed the cargo bay and had his hand against Easly’s throat, and then he was gone. They appeared in the empty security station on Z...

Re: Arc: Apocalypse

Chapters Ten and Eleven here. It may seem short, but considering twelve was the single largest chunk of story posted on the OZ, I'll leave that on its own post. Chapter 10: Escape from Zrmahk There was an eternity of silence, only two seconds in reality. Smith was the first to break the silence. “No...

Re: Arc: Apocalypse

I realized, back last summer, I went from chapter four to chapter six. So I inserted a sixth marker and renamed the fifth chapter. This collects chapters 5-9. Chapter Five: Operating Agent Aboard the ISN Kestrel Deep Space May 12th, 2592 Casey Elliot stared at Mccorl for a second. “That’s a joke,” h...

Chapter 3, Part 2: Doppelgänger Xarek Koro Rahkt made his way through the hectic command center to confront his in-command, the towering Tyrax. The definitive TE story returns to start off the rebuilding of the OZ/OO/Whatever. Formatting for chapter openings are off, since my hard drive copy went straight MS Word formatting without bbcode and I had to go through and format by hand. What is below is Chapter One, Two, Part One of Three, and a...

Re: The Descendants Redux

I thought your unnamed fantasy verse was a D-verse redux? Anyway, I would like to point out that old D-verse Faeries were already vague and not understood- unless every single one of your articles will be in-context, it'd be silly to be all "mysterious" when we, as the reader, all know the...

Re: Goddamn OZes

I can grab Orph, but Soban, Militum, Zor will need to be contacted. I have Militum's email, and Zor can be told over SDN. Destructionator could grab Soban. As for the verses, I'd (much like most people) like to start throwing down TE 2.0 stuff as soon as possible- we could mostly just get simple for...

Re: US Aircraft of CSW

I really, really like this new airforce. It's comprehensive, still works in forms of OTL aircraft- like the previously lacking Tomcat and Viper- into true CSW 2.0 forms, as opposed to CSW 1.5. I also notice the dropping of speeds, but that's not that bad. Can't wait to see the USSR rogues gallery. E...

Re: My new, as yet unnamed, fantasy universe

I'm a bit curious as to how you hit hard sci-fi with the absurdoludicrous described here, but I think you're the best hands that can do this sort of thing- after all, you are the master of the element.

Re: The Challenge of Dawn Chapter 9 SNEAK PEEK

I like it. It's certainly nice to see CoD (Take that, Modern Warfare. This story is much better) return, and the preparations for the tournament laugh at Cell. It seems the world is taking the Challenge to heart.

Re: Goddamn OZes

This is excellent. I don't have much of my stuff backed up beyond the stories, but this now gives me an exucse to write new articles and proofread my stories- think of it as removing mental blocks.

I approve of this.
