Re: Art Thread (Concerns)
More revamps. This time of Nicole Mackenville and Maximus Li. I drew them wearing two uniform concepts Ive been throwing around in my head. She's wearing an idea for some generic boarding school uniform, while he's wearing an idea for a PE uniform. On another note, putting Max beside Nicole makes hi...

Re: Art Thread (Concerns)
A now a pic of revised Kid Baylor and Tyler to show male body types in my new style.
I think more changes in appearance are evident in males than females in my new style, but I'm not sure why exactly.

I was hoping that'd get a small nod myself when I suggested the pic.

Re: Gizmos, Gadgets & Gunnery
Now I get what's bugging me about that design (aside from the whole submersible carrier bit): I see no proper radar mast. Every carrier I've ever seen always has a huge mass of those on the superstructure or it wouldn't be able to do the whole air traffic shtick. Perhaps they're retractable to avoid...

Re: Art Thread (Concerns)
Oh Malachuschus you dog. :D Does this mean crossover tiem? Not quite. I've been trying to simplify things (again) since I'm tired of having dozens of parallel ideas at once with no real progress. I've been constructing a single setting for most of my characters as I revamp my style, but nothing coh...

Well, to get my mind off recent concerns, I decided to go ahead and revamp Karen Salinas and Kaylee Kaminskiy (real name Kaliya Ilyinichna Kaminskaya; Kaylee Kaminskiy is just her Westernized name in this iteration).

Lola Inda Pancit Palabok. And it turns out that the restaurant's damage will be repaired within the week after all since my Dad managed to call a favor from a friend who knows some carpenters, but it'll still take around fifty thousand for repairs and labor (not to mention the lost revenue). It's ou...

Re: YOUR DAILY EXPLOITS!
So a drunk rich kid decides to zoom around after an all-night drinking spree in his Toyota MR2. He crashes into the delivery van parked outside the main branch of my parents' small local fast food chain, causing it to slam into and break most of entire front facade. So now the main branch, which sho...

Re: [Secret Santa] ADVENT REY
Thoughts as I read: Chapter I I may never, ever hear the term grimdark without exploding into guffaws and giggles again. The crowd cheered on general principle. This has got to be my favorite line. Even though thinking about the truth of it makes me want to weep as much as it makes me laugh. Honasan...

Re: Art Thread (Concerns)
StyleComp.jpg I've been out of practice in the art department in a while, so I decided to finally get back to drawing. I've also been meaning to revamp my style, so I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone. Only really minor revisions to said style, with the major changes mostly around the head ...

Even thinking of possibly starting a 'verse.
Well, hopefully, yeah. My schedule's easing off now, so I'll try to increase my long-dormant O1 presence once again.Shroom Man 777 wrote:Good to see you back mangs.

Re: Random ideas (again)
I kind of like the idea that the sheer success of Christianity was sort of an accident, with even the Only being shocked at how big he won when he just happened to hit just the right note to kickstart a massive world religion. He was only really planning to create a religion that would be more popu...

What are your ideas? Well, a little late to the party, but there has been this idea I was kicking around regarding Thoth and most of the gods and goddesses directly associated with him. Basically, it goes something like Thoth being the true power behind the massive and ever-changing Egyptian panthe...

Not in education anymore. Times are hard and all in the family need to contribute, so I'm working for an American free publishing company as a copyeditor. Better money, although, yeah, long hours and really crappy manuscripts.

Wow, Ford pulls a return to O1!
As for me, I've been pulling the exact opposite, with 45- to 54-hour work weeks and frequent overtimes. Man, I've been missing this place.

I'm not sure I really have enough time to commit to a SecSan right now. They're running us pretty hard as our department is understaffed. But we'll see in a few months.

Between work and doing nerdy research for this book I'm planning to make and get published (which will probably flop anyway ), I'm sadly pretty darn busy.
I drop by from time to time, though.
