The Tyxans and everyting touching them

Post by Heretic »

The noble United Tyxan Planets are a "magical", matriarchal socialist monarchy of space elves. Fair in body and mind, these spocks of the third kind constantly fight the Greeg Dominants, who have fought for so long that both side have forgot what the hell they were fighting about, but did not dare tell each other that.

Skin color varies between Tyx (nickname) to Tyx, from grey to blue to blood red. This is the same situation with their hair, which are in many colors. Sometimes, the gene pool for the hair both shoot out as Dominant and the offspring may have multi-colored hair. They have tall, slender, frail humanoid bodies, and sharp ears. They are also able to be nocturnal. An average male is 6'3 tall, while a female is 5'11. Males mature at age 21, while females are 17.

Their economy is based on agriculture and something called "magick", which is actually generating geothermal energy by sticking in staffs made from a special wood that conserves heat. They use this heat energy to power virtually everything technological, which is almost impossible to separate from magic to an untrained eye. They use magnetic machines to plow fields and harvest the crops. The only thing the Tyxans need to do is safely extract the crops from the machines and then place the crops in special warehouses that have temperatures below zero, keeping the crop for nearly infinity if need be. These machines also work in industries, making the equipment and items for both military and civilian life. But despite these machines, Tyxan laborers must be administrators, handlers, and packagers. Hunger from bad harvest is never heard of, as all the food is taken and distributed equally (unless elderly, sick, or a child). This works on a communal level, as each district takes a census, gives it to the head of that planet, who then sends it to the administrative capital in Tkar-Tkar, who then sends the needed amount to that planet.

The military is comprised of two castes determined by strength, physical peak, and performance in battle and in training. The most common is the Hephons. This includes the infantry, navy, and a special type of unit called Zvars, or "wizards," who specialize in custom built weapons and drug induced powers. The infantry is the skeleton of the military, doing every job from policing restless districts to fighting in high-intensity warfare. They have no ranks, except soldiers and commanders. Each commander has 100 soldiers under his command. His battalion works together with other commanders, who can combine forces to make a bigger force. If there is arguments, an elderly commander acts as a third party. The navy is the same, except there are 1000 fighters to each battleship, and 5 battleships to each Utar, or "Titan Ship". The Zvars are super soldiers who fight as loners, aiding any commander along the way. They are lone rangers, riding their reptilian bipedal carnivorous Jurgaens, wielding many ranged weaponry, many more melee weapons, and unknown amounts of powers gained from cybernetics, bio-engineering, and super drugs. They are the knights of the Tyxans, charging head on with their steed, obliterating any enemy in their path. They are even dangerous in hand to hand combat, when off the steed, having many more techniques up their sleeves, as they are not limited by what they see from above a murderous T-Rex cyborg thing. But this is just the normal army.

The second caste, the Votkers, super soldiers that have file and ranks surpassing all but the most specialZvars. They are the Space Marines of the Tyxans, with a dab of fucking Arnold Schwarzenegger. They don't need steeds or full body armor as they have killer magick to rely on. They come from the best of the best in the Zvar ranks (voluntary of course), going into hibernation in gas filled cylinders, inhaling a Melange-ish gas, while being injected with thousands of uber potent drugs. They do this every day, for 2 years. After two years, they come out, all frail and dizzy, until asked to bark at a steel dummy. If successful, the dummy will evaporate into the molecular level, and causing fires along the way (thankfully in a super protected room). They are then given instructions and informations on their abilities (depends on the individual, but mostly blowing fires and slamming miles worth of land down into sea level). Finally, they are given surgery so that all their powers are contained until activated by a button on their shoulder which must be tapped a certain rhythm in order to activate their whole list of magick. Of course, these are just the grunts. They don armor and use weapons, as most others, but are more powerful. The more powerful the Votker is, the less they don armor and use weapons, focusing more on their magick.

Oh, just so I don't forget, the standard weapons of the Hephons and some Votkers is a laser crossbow and a saber.

The crossbow is like the one Chewbacca in Star Wars used, except more fantasy-like. They use small wooden bolts made from the special tree that absorbs geothermal heat. When placed inside the crossbow, there is a firing mechanism that activates the bolt, turning it into a stick of searing plasma as it goes out the barrel.

The saber is a super-strong single handed sword that can cut through some metals and withstand heat. Nothing simpler than that, yet it is vital for the Tyxan military.
