That's a good find, Malchus. The immigration issue is one of those that kinda drives people in America crazy - I wish more of them read articles like that.

We Filipinos are often grateful that the Americans are too scared to do dirty jobs. Which allows us to go over there and earn dollars for ourselves.

So they're not in fact buying that stuff for the purpose of breeding an army of Minotaurs for the god-king Xerxes?

Bummer.

How the fuck is that possible?! As far as I know, U.S. sanctions make that particular export an imposibility.

Depends on the wording of the sanctions, which might well define what can and cannot be exported in far more detail than a "military equipment". It could be MREs, or a particular set of nuts and bolts developed for the F-14. Considering the price, whatever's being exported can't be very spectacular.

Isn't this something that belongs more in OZworld?
George Bush surprised world leaders with a joke about his poor record on the environment as he left the G8 summit in Japan.

The American leader, who has been condemned throughout his presidency for failing to tackle climate change, ended a private meeting with the words: "Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter."

He then punched the air while grinning widely, as the rest of those present including Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy looked on in shock.

Mr Bush, whose second and final term as President ends at the end of the year, then left the meeting at the Windsor Hotel in Hokkaido where the leaders of the world's richest nations had been discussing new targets to cut carbon emissions.

I had always harboured some hope that Bush (I don't reserve the same judgement for Cheney and Rove, who are grade-a evil) was more of a misguided but noble individual who pursued failed policies. But no, he, like everyone else around him, are simply DOUCHEBAGS. Evil douchebags who haven't given a shit since day one.

He was just giving a joke. Everyone seems to be so "OMG! BUSH SAID IT" when he makes a joke. Look, after that, he went to discuss on cutting carbon emissions.

That is something Dictator Heretic would say. I am so proud of him *Sniff* :P

Well... he also went out and inappropriately touched the leader of Germany.

I am sure none of us would have any reservations if Vladimir Putin grabbed Bush in the crotch and gave him a good squeeze, though.

EDIT:

Besides, world leaders are supposed to have supposed etiquette and such. Which is why even a dick like Sarkozy was shocked by Bush's dickishness.

It's like Prince Harry or Willian attending a party in full Nazi regalia :P

Count down to Heretic being an apologist in five, four...

Fuck you, it was not a fragging joke, and you know it. He doesn't give a shit about his country, or the world. He's not helping on carbon emissions, his concessions are bullshit, and he's only doing this after what, seven years of saying no and ignoring the Supreme gorram Court?

The irony is that the G8 world leaders actually agreed on very little of substance. Not to mention Shrubya's previous record on carbon emission agreements...

EDIT: The G8 guests also enjoyed five-course lunches and eight-course banquets with truffles and giant crab prepared by Michelin chefs while discussing global food shortages and rising food prices, as well.

One thing, I am very much an unbeliever of GW (Global Warming), as it is something the witch hunter Al Gore made. There has been climate shifts along history, as it is natural. Now, If I am an ignorant twit and you guys are talking about drastic changes (like Washington becoming the next Saudi Arabia, and Saudi Arabia becoming the next Russia), then I'll eat my words. Now, I'm no environment hater, as going to the muddy beaches (real nature, not the sunny beachs where there are bikinis to distract you from the trash) in Washington can make you a hippie, but the whole GW thing is a scare method, just like the Red Scare.

Also, I see the whole Bush joke as threatening as this: http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/polit ... _seal.html

Still, makes Obama sexier.

Heretic... you're an idio-

No. You are obviously more qualified to judge the truthiness of Global Warming than scientists who are all elitist liars. Who also read from moldly old history books that tell us nothing.

You, and those credible scientists paid for by Big Oil, are right.

Those pussies in Britain, California (including that dumbass Schwarzenegger), Germany and etcetera, are all full of shit.

They are wrong. We are right. We have been very right, haven't we?

Yes we have.

Just because climate has changed in the past does not mean mankind is not worsening or accelerating it by pumping countless metric shitloads of pollutants into the air.

One of the reasons why the world today is different from it was millions of years ago, with steaming forests everywhere and dinosaurs, was because all the carbon was absorbed by life forms and those life forms ended up being fossilized.

Now, we are apparently using these fossils as fuels (fossil fuels, hurr! clever!). And apparently, we are also running out of oil. Which is why oil prices are soaring through the roof.

Now that tells us that a significant portion of these fossilized carbon-based life forms have been burned and vaporized and now their carbon is in the air.

Durrr....

....urrrr....

...umm.....

Well, the rights are rights as always!

They were right with for-profit healthcare! As we should always make a buck from dying people! We should also privatize the police and fire brigades!

They were also right with WMDs in Iraq!

They were also right in giving Iraq chemical weapons to use against the Iranians!

These same people are also right in Creationism!

They were also right in that we shouldn't trust education too much! Hitler knew that the Jews were subverting the youth through shit like school! Same with Stalin! The Intellectual Elite cannot be trusted! Let us rally the ignorant masses of angry Germans/Russians/Spartafreedomericans against them! Then we can isolate people we don't like in Camps, Gugals, Gitmos, or Siberia!

Let us be totally ignorant of historical precedence! As being aware of the same mistakes as dumbasses have done in the past is... ungood! Really ungood!

Too much science is bad! We can't use our brains! We must use our guts! Our guts make us flatulent! Farting releases carbon into the air! Fuck global warming! *farts*

He has a cellphone, a PDA, and something in that coat thing.

John McCain doesn't know how to use computers.

He does know how to get shot down and crash and burn, though. In Vietnam.

That makes him a hero. John Kerry is a traitor.

I think in SOTS Supreme - the Colonial Coalition should try to elect a man who can't read to be the president. Since it would put him in touch with the common unliterate miners in shithole worlds all over the galaxy.

Then he loses to Jesus, but since Jesus isn't real, there is no one in power in the capital. This causes a Civil War.

Then the new government bans Nuns because they wear burqas and are thus untrustworthy.

This causes VaticanBurger stocks to decline greatly and so the Pope calls the Sanctified Stockbrokers to do some economic manipulation. Sanctified Sanctions are imposed upon the Colonials, and then the Sovereignty's government is bribed by pontifical political lobbies. Marines are sent to ruin everyone's shit.

The Nuns are saved.

Climate Change is true. Al Gore is a lie.

Look, deforestation is a problem. Anyone can understand that (yes, Shroom, even me). But the whole reducing Carbon Emission thing is a political thing. Regulate is good! Trust the Democrats and ignore the scientists!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32Qzms05vEE

I learned alot.

You know who also makes C02? Cow farts! Their gases contain C02! I don't like this whole regulation thing. We need to plant more trees and vegetables, as they take C02 and convert it into oxygen. Plants have increased 52%!

And if C02 is the true problem, then we should all die! When we scream and talk, C02 is released!

In my view, instead of regulating, we need to plant more.

Also, I'm a moderate.

Hitler used logic (warped logic at least. Not Dakarne logic) to kill the jews! Why? Because Jews have money+Germans don't=must be fair and get the money from the Jews and give to the Germans. I like logic and knowledge, but I draw the line when it comes to using it on ethics AKA philosophy.
