Meh. I think you should move the game to Patton...
But if you want it here, that will be ok

I'm still here.

I'm a bit worried about FrankTheRabbit, he's obviously pretty important at the moment and yet he wasn't even in the "Revolutionary Forum Games Movement" group. I wonder if he's found us, or whether anyone knows how to get him? The closing down of Revleft was probably the most effective way of disorganising us from the several ways the BA has tried since for some of us it was the only way we could contact each other. We really need another Pan-Asian player if FrankTheRabbit is missing, since not having one would really screw up things in the region. (Either that, or Noxion should intervene more in the control of unclaimed countries. In fact, I'd like to suggest this - develop the NPC countries somewhat as well, if you have the energy. I mean, the players have all built a lot of mines and such, which makes it a bit unrealistic that NPC countries haven't developed at all. They don't need to grow fast, just fast enough that they'll not lag behind too much. Of course, if you have reasons not to do this, I can accept that.)

Glad to see you guys made it. As for FranktheRabbit, I think Mather (and Noxion?) know him/her irl, so it shouldn't be a problem. Speaking of Mather, does anyone know if he's joined yet? He played a fairly important role and it would be a shame to lose him.

I highly doubt the BA shut Revleft down in order to disorganize us, Kamos (although I wouldn't be surprised). Has anyone had access to the site? I haven't been able to log on since Friday evening.

I think the outage is one of their usual ones, like we had a few weeks back. Though it seems to be conveniently timed.

As for Frank, I can recall even when he posted that he mentioned he was busy irl, so he just may have not 'caught up' on things relating to the game. But I'm sure s/he will come around when they know.

Mather and Frank the Rabbit are aware of the situation. I'm just waiting for them to register. I've found a Google cache of the last turn so I now have everyone's updated stats for the game. When Mather and Frank the Rabbit get on bboard I will repost the last turn posted on Revleft and then we get going again.

Hell, Noxion, if you want I can pick up one of the NPC countries to cut you some slack. I don't mind if it is a bit underdeveloped.

After reading the responses to Nova Mundi on Patton I'm glad we didn't move there. They seemed more concerned with the "unrealistic" progression of events and the map's makeup than actually playing.

And, of course, their avatars (which take up half the page).

I went there and I didn't like the look of the crowd. They have jewish stereotypes and blackfaces for smilies, for goodness' sake.

The map of Earth is here. Map of Mars is here. Unless you want to set up elsewhere in the Solar system?

well dunno if I would override other people's claims, unless this is a new game. I want to play a semi-preservationist polity (run by a transhumanist conspirator nonetheless  ) and will keep it at Earth.

edit: are those polities other people's or NPC?

you know, thinking about it I might take the island on the east of the Mars map. does the grey mean unoccupied or an NPC? Looks withdrawn enough for my currently isolationist group.

The following countries/polities are already taken:

Republic of Texas/Mather

People's Republic of Greater Congo/Red Commissar

Technocratic Union of Marispatria/Le Socialiste

Pan-Asian Federation/FranktheRabbit

Eco-Technate of Australia/Kamos

Antarctic Coalition/Red Comet

There's probably more, but I don't remember the others. Chances are some players won't follow the game now that it's no longer on Revleft, so that should open up quite a few spots. That said, we really don't have anyone role-playing on a different planet (or planets). Most of the current players are concentrated on Earth, so that's something to consider.

Edit - Nevermind, you're already looking at Mars.

Well, if a few more NPC or empty spots open, I'll take them. Otherwise Mars it is.

The lighter grey areas on Mars are basically unoccupied. Where do you want to start?

I have no idea what is going on at Rev-Left but I will be very interested in seeing what happened,It has been down for a while now so I am very curious to see how many people get unjustly screwed.

I think Ismail has a lot to answer for.
