[Technology and Magic] Ships of the World

Post by Czernobog »

SHIPS OF THE WORLD
In this thread you will find information over the world's ships, including those fielded in the Sky Navies of the major powers.

Tyrannus-Class Dreadnought

The Tyrannus-class Dreadnought is the pride of the Imperial Navy, a mighty ship that dominates the waves. It is 170 meters long, with a width of 25 meters and a draught of 8 meters, only comparable to the British Dreadnought-class. It is a truly mighty ship, with countless 12-inch guns and sorcerous weapons. There are 7 ships of its type: Eleaxus, Flavius, Lucius, Aquillon, Augustus and Romulus, each named after a famed commander or Emperor of the Empire of the Phoenix. The Tyrannus-class rarely sees battle, due to their fame and the morale damage if one were to be lost, although 5 more are currently being constructed, which will increase the number to 12.

Stormbird-class Sky Battleship

The Stormbird-class is the latest design out of the factories of Constantinople, a highly advanced (both in technology and magic) skyship designed to replace the ageing Thunderhawk-class, and to improve the Empire's power projection. Its main engines can do 100 kilometres an hour, and it has a great amount of 12-inch guns and large bomb bays, enabling it to rain down devastation from the skies while also fending off enemy attacks. It is approximately 200 metres long and 50 wide, with a draught of 10 metres. The Emperor's Children have their own personal Stormbird - the Aurelian, designed specifically for speed and transport and which can do 200 kilometres an hour with good winds behind it.
