Silly Liberal Media. Everyone knows that the 9/11 Attacks happened during the administration of Woodrow Wilson, an avowed anti-american socialist democratic communist!

Today in the Feeelipeeenes! wrote:With three eyes, four ears, three sex organs and eight feet, a "mutant" goat has become a tourist attraction in Ilocos Norte province in northern Philippines.

Radio dzBB reported on Monday that while the goat died shortly after it was born, people continue to flock to Mabuti village in Dingras town to see it.

Tourists who heard of the unique animal sought to get a glimpse of it.

The report said the goat had one of its three eyes and two of four ears located at the back of its head.

Despite the goat's early death, local village officials plan to preserve the remains of the goat and turn it over to local authorities, the report said.

Dingras is a third-class town with a population of 35,793 people in 6,921 households.

Clearly this is a sign of unholy warp sorcery in the Philippines. Where is the Ordo Hereticus when you need them?

The more important question is why are they always there when you don't need them...

Trust me, the country's doing a pretty good job of performing an Exterminatus on itself. We don't need any outside help. :P

That's one sweet lookin' plane. It has a serious fifties/sixties vibe going, the cockpit section for example reminds me a little of the F-106 Delta Dart, and the general delta shape is similarly reminiscent of the planes of yore. And I love the way the VO pronounces "Russki stealth" (although hell, it sure don't look very stealthy with those bigass intakes).

Same Bat-Time, same Bat-Channel!
In the 1960s, Joseph F. Lewis brought the national spotlight to Sunnyvale with his innovative twist on the nightclub scene and his fight for civil rights in the courtroom.

Lewis, a longtime Sunnyvale businessman with a variety of interests, died Jan. 14 at 85, but not before leaving his mark on Murphy Avenue. From Murphy Avenue, Lewis practiced law, ran for state senator and opened the area's only Batman-themed night club.

"He could envision things and see opportunities when other people couldn't see them," said his son Garth Lewis, one of Lewis' four children.

Lewis made his debut on Sunnyvale's Murphy Avenue after he began practicing law in 1953 and opened a law office there.

He ventured into the club scene in the early 1960s when the Whisky A Go Go clubs in Los Angeles and Chicago were all the rage. Lewis decided to capitalize on the concept. He traded his apartment in San Jose for an old bank building where the Town Center now sits and opened a Whisky A Go Go in Sunnyvale.

According to Garth, the act was "a bold move and a risky investment," but it was an investment that paid off as he breathed new life into the nightclub scene, he said. When the craze began to fade, Lewis revamped the club into a scene straight out of a comic book.

"My dad was wracking his brain about what the next adventure should be and I said,`Why don't you make it a Batman [club]?,' " said Garth, who was an avid reader of the comic at age 10.

Lewis soon transformed the space into Wayne Manor, a Batman-themed nightclub, just as the television cartoon was created to accompany the comic book.

The club got the attention of Life Magazine in 1966 and a San Francisco columnist, who both wrote of the vibrant colors and dÂŽcor at the Sunnyvale club.

Lines stretched a block long on weekends to get into the club where Batman sold tickets at the front door, The Joker was the maitre d' and drinks like the "batini" were served by Batgirls.

"My dad had extraordinary creative energy and intelligence," Garth said.

Lewis even orchestrated a mock campaign to change the name of Sunnyvale to Gotham City, which kept the club in the media for weeks.

Garth remembers his father giving the four children credit for the idea and took the family on a trip to New York as a "thank you." "It was a nice gesture that made us feel involved and appreciated. That is the kind of man that he was," Garth said.

The timelines are unclear, but Lewis left the club scene behind a few years later and moved to San Francisco.

The building was later torn down to make way for the Town Center project.

Prior to his involvement in Sunnyvale nightlife, Lewis served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946.

He was a personal injury lawyer and ran for state senate in 1962. Lewis garnered 52 percent of the vote in Sunnyvale, but lost the overall election.

He was active in the civil rights and anti-war movements. He was key in a San Francisco case where Lewis was a witness to a violent scene between student protestors and police. He created a rebuttal to a government documentary stating students were to blame. At the end of the case, the student was acquitted.

"The more I learn about his life, the more impressed and proud of him I become," Garth said.

Lewis is survived by four children: Todd Lewis; Garth Lewis; Shaun Egbert and J. Scott Lewis; and his wife, Margaret Boddie Lewis.

Glenn Beck is Nuts
On his daily radio and television shows last week, Fox News personality Glenn Beck set out to convince his audience that "social justice," the term many Christian churches use to describe their efforts to address poverty and human rights, is a "code word" for communism and Nazism. Beck urged Christians to discuss the term with their priests and to leave their churches if leaders would not reconsider their emphasis on social justice.

"I'm begging you, your right to religion and freedom to exercise religion and read all of the passages of the Bible as you want to read them and as your church wants to preach them . . . are going to come under the ropes in the next year. If it lasts that long it will be the next year. I beg you, look for the words 'social justice' or 'economic justice' on your church Web site. If you find it, run as fast as you can. Social justice and economic justice, they are code words. Now, am I advising people to leave their church? Yes!"

Later, Beck held up cards, one with a hammer and sickle and other with a swastika. "Communists are on the left, and the Nazis are on the right. That's what people say. But they both subscribe to one philosophy, and they flew one banner. . . . But on each banner, read the words, here in America: 'social justice.' They talked about economic justice, rights of the workers, redistribution of wealth, and surprisingly, democracy."

There Are No Words.
Woman aims to become world's fattest

Donna Simpson, from New Jersey, weighs 273kg but told the Daily Mail newspaper she had her heart set on reaching her goal weight of 1000lb (450kg) in two years.

The 42-year-old already holds the title of the world's fattest mother after giving birth to her daughter in 2007 when she weighed 241kg.

"I'd love to be 1000lb ... it might be hard though, running after my daughter keeps my weight down," Ms Simpson told the Daily Mail.

Ms Simpson, who needs a mobility scooter to go shopping, eats huge amounts of junk food each week and tries to move as little as possible so she doesn't burn off as many calories.

"I do love cakes and sweet things, doughnuts are my favourite," she said.

Ms Simpson said she also loved eating sushi and would often eat 70 big pieces in one go.

Her 49-year-old partner Philippe — who she met on a dating site for plus-size people — was encouraging her to reach her goal, she said.

"I think he'd like it if I was bigger ... he's a real belly man and completely supports me," she said.

To put on enough weight, Ms Simpson will need to eat 12,000 calories a day, which is six times the recommended daily intake for women.

In order to pay for the enormous amounts of food she is eating — her weekly grocery bill is $815 — Ms Simpson makes money by running a website where men pay to watch her consume fast food.
Seriously...this is completely insane. There are no literal words to describe this madness. This is committing suicide, one forkful at a time. This...I just feel sickened and repulsed by this. There are people paying to watch her eat.. No...just no.

Relevant parts are bolded and italicised.

That's awesome! That's like OMNIVORE come to life! Goddamn I love fat people. Especially morbidly obese fat people! Lots of times I make loud pig sounds with my mouth when I am in their presence, because it is funny. Man, this is the greatest thing ever. Thanks, mang.

(man, i'd love to see the pathophysiology of this woman's eventual and inevitable cause of death. will she develop type two diabetes mellitus and have a crapload of complications from that? or will the cholesterol levels cause atherosclerosis in her arteries and lead to heart complications like coronary artery disease?)

Actually, it's pretty fucking horrible and stupid. You gotta wonder what makes people do things like these. But the whole website where people watch her eat is a stroke of genius, though.

What madness is this?
THE boss of a Westcountry company was vilified yesterday after claiming he would prefer to employ a convicted paedophile rather than a former serviceman.

Karl Winn, founder of Taunton-based design company Webeurope, has a blanket ban on former armed forces personnel.

He made the comment in correspondence to Forces Recruitment Services (FRS) which asked if he would consider taking on ex-soldiers. Mr Winn, 60, replied: "Personally, I'd rather recruit ex-drug dealers, convicts and even child molesters rather than consider anybody who has been in the pay of the British Government.

"Anybody who has been in the pay of such a military force, and by their silence and complicity has condoned such illegal and immoral actions while accepting a monthly bloodstained pay packet, certainly won't be considered for employment by us.

"The reality for the families of their victims is that there will never be any justice, and there never will be any closure, for the loss of a son, a husband, a child, or a family member who has fallen victim to British military personnel who are going beyond 'just doing their job'.

"Please remove us from your e-mail list. Regards, Karl."

Mr Winn's business in Taunton is less than three miles from the base of 40 Commando Royal Marines. His staff were later seen removing corporate signs from outside his office, which employs 16 people.

FRS managing director Graham Brown was "staggered" by Mr Winn's attitude, which he said "simply beggared belief".

"I wonder if the Royal Marine detachment based in Taunton would share your belief," he told Mr Winn in an e-mail.

The Sun broke the story yesterday and was quickly followed up by other national newspapers. Mr Winn was vilified in comments posted by the public on the papers' websites.

Mr Winn later released a statement saying: "Ex-paedophiles and drug addicts who have been charged and paid the price for their actions deserve a chance to get on with their lives. In my opinion, military personnel who have got away with murder do not."

On his company website yesterday, Mr Winn released further extracts from his conversation with FRS. It said: "In those e-mails, Karl Winn stated that his personal preference would be to offer employment even to ex-offenders, rather than British military personnel because at least the former had been investigated and bought before the courts and held accountable for their actions."

It went on: "We are not talking about people who do their duty. Nobody is going to condemn any serviceman or woman for that. What I'm referring to is the unwillingness of far too many servicemen and women to give evidence against those who commit criminal offences.

"I'm not talking about incidents that happen in the heat of battle against armed combatants, but actions that by any standard amount to murder, or other such crimes against a civilian population."
This disgusts me.

Why is this mad? Because criminals who get released from prison shouldn't get jobs and should be jobless, thus denied of an opportunity at starting their lives all over again and forcing them to turn back to crime or relapse back into their bad behavior? Yes, poo-pooing soldiers might not be nice, but just because he said he'd be okay with employing convicted pedophiles is hardly the worst thing ever.

As screwed up as pedophiles are, when they get released they're still going to need to live lives - preferably under the supervision of the authorities, or some kind of government/whatever personnel charged with rehabilitating pedophiles after they serve their time - and at least being employed in a web designing company is better than putting them in a daycare center or some shit. They're mentally ill people, and they did terrible things, but unless you want them to get the death penalty or get life imprisonment, they're still going to need to do something once they get out of jail.

That guy certainly shouldn't have made loud statements denouncing British soldiers while mentioning pedophiles in the same statement. Both are very politically and socially charged hot topics, and wouldn't win him any PR points.
