The Cult of Kronos

After the Olympians' defeat of the Titan-God Kronos, as he was imprisoned in Tartarus, he sent out a fraction of his power, the primal entropy and chaos that gave him strength, out into the ranks of humankind. The people corrupted by this power became the Cachani, the children of Kronos. The Olympians sought them out, destroying many of them, but the survivors started a cult, whose objective was to worship Kronos and to eagerly await his return. During the times of Hyperborea, when Atlantis and Lemuria still existed, the cult grew strong, and began to search deep into the dark places of the world, for any indication of where Tartarus might lie. They searched the high airs, they scanned the deep darkness of the seas, they surveyed the deep places of the earth. They even entered the manifold passages outside time and space. But they could not find Tartarus there. And finally, they opened the gates of R'lyeh itself. And that destroyed them. For out came the Starspawn of Cthulhu, who destroyed Atlantis and Lemuria and Mu and blasted them all under the flowing sea. The cult was almost exterminated. But it survived. And eventually, in the Dark Ages, it was to reform into a shadow of its former power, and its goal changed to a mad plan to cause the end of the world. It started the Black Death, and caused the Great Fire of London. It engineered the Wall Street Crash and the Cuban Missile Crisis was one of its failed plans. Throughout this period it was fighting a hidden war with the Disciples of Zeus, a secret society dedicated to fighting it.

And it stayed secret. Until a few years ago, in 2002, when the Immortal was given the timeless power of Zeus. The cult engineered a bombing on his apartment against this new threat. But they were caught by the police. They only thing the police could discern from the cultists' mad rants before they comitted suicide was that there was an ancient cult dedicated to Kronos, and it planned to end the world. Superheroes soon began to concentrate on this threat. But they found that it had its fingers in too many pies. It had people in al-Quaeda, Crimson Dawn, the Circle, you name it. Also the cult was formed into cells, all working indepently but taking orders from a "master cell" led by the last remaining Cachani, who possessed a new body whenever the old one died. And so the fight against the Cult of Kronos is still being fought, an open war rather than a secret one.

The Cult has access to not only human cultists - most of whom are skilled in the mystic arts - but also the terrifying monsters of Greek mythology, which they unleash in terrible rampages in which the military are often involved. They also have no compunctions about using modern weapons, and are often highly skilled with them. However the greatest threat is from the organisations they manipulate, as the Cult can turn their course easily. Also, nobody has any idea where their headquarters is, a thing that makes them seemingly impossible to wipe out.

Christ, it returns. The (I can't exactly call it original) retarded supah organization of doom isn't exactly something that's uncommon Kamin, and this one pulls out all the stops in 'hai guys we rule teh world'.

I normally don't bother with replying to anything Kamin says, but this is terrible. It's not even redeemable like some of the other stuff you've written - it's in the exact same lame boat as Chaos. In any case, it barely* meshes with the existing canon of Comix!, like how Mu was 'blasted under the seas' with Atlantis and Lemuria ... except that the Mu were gone hundreds of thousands of years before the rise of homo sapiens. I think that's pretty funny.

*By barely I mean it features the Immortal.

I say they're great for utterly cheesy villainy. Like with monocles, outrageous hairdos, mad monologues, and downright unreal schemes.

Well, at least this wasn't as bad as my GWB heroism. Omg, that was embarrassing.

Acutally Heretic, I'd dissagree. Dubya was the worst thing you've ever written, but it's still better than this and most of everything else Kamin has written.

I would give Heretic an energy level of 9,000.

While Kamin is this guy:

Except Android 18 would so totally ditch him.
