The Vagrant Industries All-Terrain Trailblazer XLR-53 Stalingrad Armoured Cycle, commonly known simply as the Stalingrad, is a multi-purpose bike designed to be used in almost any scenario, in any environmental setting. It is a large bike, packed with new technology and special features and was designed especially for military operatives who had to operate in the harsh and unforgiving environs of Russia and the northern Manchurian regions, where refuelling and maintenance operations were generally few and far between. Constructed of sturdy and durable materials, theStalingrad sports plates of armour along the sides, leaving open some spots for modular components and the particle collector vents. However, in general, the armour is strong enough to repel small-arms fire, even high explosive to a degree, though anti-material weaponry can penetrate it.

The Stalingrad utilizes magnesser wheels, meaning that it has honeycomb-latticed rubber tires embedded with strips of magnesser technology. These wheels, due to their design, cannot be punctured, and the magnesser strips provide superior grip, traction and control on all terrains. Supplementing this technology is an innovative suspension design and advanced handling systems that are built into various sections of the bike give it incredible handling, even at high speeds. This means that the bike is able to maintain superior control at speeds up to 220 kph in good conditions, even on terribly uneven and loose surfaces.

Stalingrad is powered by a hybrid system of a high-density power cell and a particle converter. The HD cell is located near the back, just in front of the rear wheel, and powers the whole motorcycle. At full charge, the cell is able to operate the Stalingrad at top speed, with all system running, for a total of 48 continuous hours. The power cell is a rapid-recharge model, able to charge from flat to maximum charge in just under an hour and a half. Supplementing the HD cell is the particle converter system, which runs throughout the vehicle, but is centered below the rider's seat, down near the bottom of the bike. There are small vents and reinforced pipes running around the bike which collect particles from the air for power. This system allows the HD cell to effectively power the bike at full for 96 continuous hours, though judicious use of the systems and a lower top speed can extend the cell life as long as 240 hours or more.

The particle converter also acts as a redundant power system, able to draw energy from the air and power the bike indefinitely, seperate from the HD power cell. However, the power produced by this system is a lot less than that of the HD cell, only propelling the bike as fast as 60 kph, at maximum. The particle converter system can also be used to recharge the HD cell, though it takes a long time, roughly 24 hours, and longer if you actually use the Stalingrad with the particle converter whilst trying to recharge the power cell.

Located around the bike are multiple modular ports for special equipment suited to different missions and sealed when not in use. Also included on the bike are a series of storage compartments, for supplies and equipment when on long trips. There is a compartment under the rider's seat, another under the passenger seat, two on either side of the bike, within the armour, and a large reinforced compartment on either side of the bike, at the back, just behind and above the rear wheel.

Finally, the Stalingrad sports a long-range multi-communication radio transceiver, able to communicate with radios up to 200 kilometers from the bike, on various private and public frequencies.

I'd like to see VagArms' more killier products - and why's the bike called Stalingrad, anyway? :P

I think the radical batteries should be able to power the bike for at least a full week just by itself, it has to be totally badass or something - given the technological madness of Comix.

Maybe the bike AMY uses is a modified Stalingrad!

Shroomy, the bike can make over twenty five thousand kilometres before having to recharge. This is pretty badass, especially for a vehicle which doesn't make use of fusion as its power source.

And it's called the Stalingrad because it's awesome.

Given the bike's military nature, I'd really have to recomend that it look bulky and tanklike, like something from Advent Children, or the BatPod. :)

It's almost four metres long and weighs half a ton - I think it's about as tanky as it could look. Although, I remember Orph talking about making a motorcycle which had a single tread ...

Well, Moby, your impression of the Stalingrad is pretty accurate, considering that the Fenrir of AC was the initial inspiration for it.

The Death's Head tank was conceived of as a single-tracked tank, yeah. That one the rider lays down on, much like the Batpod, is covered by an armoured hood, and the entire machine is covered in armour, including massive covers over the wheels, the one at front being pointed like a deadly plow and able to energise. The Death's Head was literally designed for racing across enemy land, shrugging off gunfire as you go, before energising the battering spike and literally ramming the bike straight through a fortified wall, so that the Elite Trooper on it can invade the buillding. That'll be up soon.

I posted the Stalingrad because it's Khunbish's current bike, his metallic steed for racing around Manchuria. The Death's Head will be Petyr Gregori's old bike.

This is absolutely awesome. It's basically the high-tech lovechild of tank and heavy-duty motorcycle... named the Stalingrad! I want one so much.

Maybe Vagrant bought out a couple of Design Bureaus after the USSR broke up, hence the name? Since the scientists would still be all... Soviety.

Or, as stated in the actual description, Vagrant Industries simply created the bike for Russian militants and as such it had a Russian codename?

TENGU Combat Actuator Suit

The Tengu Combat Actuator Suit is a mass-production project from Vagrant Arms based on data collated from the US Defense Force and other arms manufacturers, though not all of the data was obtained legitimately, more than a minor amount being obtained through corporate espionage and unethical warzone testing. Taking cues from Saintly Industries Light Blues, the SDI's own military power suits and the original SWAT active armour systems, the Tengu armor is one of the most successful of the products manufactured by Vagrant Arms, being the current standard-issue power armour for law enforcement agencies across America and multiple other nations as well.

Initial variants of the TENGU Combat Actuator Suit existed back in the mid 1980s, when Vagrant Arms was still under the control of Wayne Banner, but were mostly non-powered armours with emergency frames that could temporarily enhance the soldier for retreats or explosive ambushes. Later models were blatant knock-offs of Light Blue combat suits, but since Lillet du Lac took control of Vagrant Arms she has revived the waning sales of the TENGU line of armours by pushing the boundaries constantly in bleeding-edge technology and aggressive marketing. In recent years the "TENGU Tango" has become a blanket term for the demonstration shows that Vagrant Arms puts on frequently, displaying the superiority of their TENGU armour over all other light powered armours available, though much of this is expert salesmanship by Lillet's media teams.

This exoskeletal suit utilizes artificial muscle myomers and actuators to improve the agility, strength and stamina of the wearer. The suit is bio-sealed with a twenty minute compressed air supply, meaning it can be used in flooded and contaminated areas, and is partially radiation shielded as well. The suit provides a relatively high degree of defense with molecular-laminate armour with nanoscopic electronic sensors that lock together into dense matricies when high-velocity projectiles strike, spreading the kinetic energy across the armour in a much broader sense, effectively reducing the velocity of most bullets to below the level required to penetrate this lightweight armour. This same system protects against strikes from blades and the like, and even from explosions, as the armour also has high thermo-insulatory properties. However, high-frequency weapons disrupt the electron fields the nanites operate with, and so Tengu Combat Actuator Suits are of significantly reduced effectiveness against vibrational weapons such as pulse-frequency swords and daggers.

The Human Strength Amplification Network is a system cetralized within the helmet and the small of the back, which utilizes the nanites throughout the suit and the various sensory feeds to drastically enhance reaction times in the soldiers wearing them, as well as gyroscopic balance systems and Automuscle Compensator systems to enhance the strength of a Tengu by roughly 300% of their original strength.

The Tengu Sensory System installed in the helmet utilizes an advanced composite spectrum receptor on the front of the helmet as well as a series of minute micro-sensors across the helmet, providing superior visual and IR-spectrum vision ahead of the Tengu, as well as full 90 degree vision to either side. The main composite receptor is able to scan in other modes, such as light amplification, polarizing filter, ultraviolet or radar mapping. Combined with this sensor is a series of sub- and super-audible sound sensors, improving hearing significantly as well.

Though standard side-arms vary based on which organisation's soldier is in the suit, within the US Navy and Vagrant Arms' own mercenary force the Tengu Soldier is equipped with an FN-P90 bullpup assault rifle, with a fifty round capacity and a full-automatic mode with a firing rate of 900 RPM. With a maximum effective range of 200 meters and 5.7x28mm ammunition, the P90 is a powerful automatic weapon, and can be fitted with a suppressor for stealth missions. Also provided to the Tengu is a Pulse-Arc Blade, with a blade length of roughly seventy centimetres. Quite lightweight despite its strength, the PA Blade has a unit built into the hilt that allows it to vibrate the blade at the molecular level at extreme speeds, enhancing the sharpness and durability of the blade, to the point where it can deflect bullets from most guns indefinitely while the unit is active. The Blade has enough power to be active for thirty minutes, but has a bioelectric nano-connection system, allowing it to recharge reservoirs from the Tengu himself.

Within the US Navy, the Tengu Soldier himself is chosen from the cream of the crop of elite soldiers and submitted to two years of rigorous training and flash imprinting methods to bring the Tengu up to a master-class level of skill in the Fighting Arts and utility of the Pulse-Arc Blade, among other things. The Tengu Mercenaries that guard Vagrant Arms facilities are rumoured to be trained to even further extremes and selected from only the best of the best of poached soldiers from special ops forces nationwide, but even these experts fail to capture the attention of conspiracy theorists like the urban legend of CROW TENGU, supposed advanced prototype power armours with neurocortical flight capabilities.

Nice details and nice suits. We needed something like this, since between the Saintly suits, the Hero Labs limited edition SWAT Suits, and the SDI's in-house produced Goldstein armors, the US military also needs a (not-so) standard issue suit for their special forces. Tengu Tango!

And, yeah, Lillet's marketing strategies should totally come into conflict with Maks Mikoyan's own stuff!

Lillet: "Ditch those Light Blues and use my Tangos for your MiG Men!"
MAKS: "Nyet, unless you let me tap that hot American ass."
Lillet: "I'm French!"
MAKS: "But these sure are not!" *drunk Maks grabs Lillet's tits, gets devoured by Symbiote*

MAKS probably won't be too lecherous like that. But against Lillet's wiles, he'd probably face a dilemma between securing his own corporate assets from Amerikaner capitalists and his billionaire philandering ways.

Anyway, more stuff:

I infer, from the high-frequency vulnerability of the nanoes, that the Tengu Tango is totally based on Symbiote biotechnology. And, yeah, I think the Reaganite Civil Protection service could use a bunch of Tengu Tangos too!

One minor note is that I think two years worth of training to use the Tengu Tango is pretty excessive and uneconomical and inefficient - unless, as I said on MSN, the elements of the US Navy that uses the Tengu Tangos are actually one of those factions with less-than-noble goals who might want to operate operatives outside of "normal" USN/US Military channels. The two years "extensive" training and the "flash imprinting" might help them make truly patriotic soldiers. ;)

BTW, it is good to see you back in writing.
