I'm off to France for a week tomorrow, and will be back on Friday the week after. Try not to break anything in the meantime.

I can only assume it was something like that.

I remember thinking to myself 'Hmm. I wonder what ever happened to O1'

... And then I realized I could just come here and find out.

So how's everyone doing? Seems like there hasn't been any posts for a whole month. I've been doing my Computer Network Administration courses at college as well as editing my NaNoWriMo story by June 30 for my free hardcover copies. Hoping to get back to O1 with a new, Gundam/Battletech-inspired universe and read more stories on here.

Hey hey,

I'm still here at least :). I'm still developing, y'know, stuff... But I admit that the lack of overall activity has played a big role in diminishing my activity around these parts. Nonetheless we're still open for business and if you have good stuff to share then by all means, let's have it!

EDIT: Also, your signature still cracks me up :D/

Hey, I'm here! Or does it not count since I basically died for a couple of months?

Also, hey, I'm back. And I haven't forgotten my baby, Accelerating Future, either. I have a lot of ideas for that setting, including many stories. Maybe the dearth of content here will motivate me to breathe some life into this esteemed board.

I'm still here on a technicality. :P I'm still logged in automatically and this place is still bookmarked for me. So that counts right?

Must admit my verse ideas, always thin on the ground, are practically non-existent now.

Huh, it looks like I haven't visited so long that my auto-login wore off.

I've been busy with other writing stuff, but I do have some universe ideas rattling around that I might solicit some input on. And someday I'm gonna get the thing in my signature off the ground...

Roll call time! So what's everyone been up to lately? Been busy with Computer Network Administration work and crap, as well as teaching my sister my worldbuilding skills gained from this site. I feel old.

Long Absence, huh? if there were an award for most redundant topic, I think we'd have a winner :D :) :?

Anyway, yeah: I got married, which was glorious. Then I got a job, which was edifying and a sense of huge relief. But, because there are no such things as careers in the modern economy (that's my excuse and by God I'm sticking to it) I spend much of my time when not working looking for new jobs these days, which makes one a bit tense.

I don't write much, just doodle bits and pieces, but this is more a problem with my lack of focus than my circumstances, if I'm honest.

So anyone else around?

Congratulations on the marriage! Yeah, jobs seem hard to get and I'm hoping to get this Network Administration stuff down and get a good entry-level job, but the curriculum is tough, even for old IT vets.

And I'm also having issues concentrating with my writing and such, usually just dallying around with world building. I really should get back to it, as it'll help exercise my mind.

I've been slowly developing this thing called a "career", so my intellectual energies have been diverted somewhat.

But I have been doing some writing. (on 4chan, of all places.)

It's pretty much the same over here. I'm trying to figure out a way to get things out with some consistency but it's an uphill battle. Anyhow, congratulations to Speaker!

And when you get there in the end you'll be looking back at all the free time and energy you had to write the stuff you wanted to write :D. It's the circle of life!

So most of you guys are working on careers and such? Cool.

I was wondering why the website seemed so empty.

It's been getting quieter for some time, unfortunately. Can't really be helped I think, it's the lifecycle of the Internet. Forums aren't what they were ten years ago :).

Well, hey everyone. Long time no see. So on my end I've been juggling a lot of life events that seemed to have coincided with my last appearance on the board: moving into a new place, picking up more steam in my career, finally coming out (went really well with many people and really poorly with few others, but it was the best decision I ever made), meeting someone who could very well be the person I spend the rest of my life with, and other similar things. Despite all that, I've still been entertaining ideas with my baby, Accelerating Future. I'd really like to revisit it and share my worldbuilding with others, even if at this point there are so few of us left. A part of me wonders what it would take to rekindle the time when there were so many talented worldbuilders around. Maybe its as simple as someone to step up the challenge? There's an idea...

Hey, congratulations! And I'm totally game for some sort of collaborative effort.

I wouldn't be averse to some kind of collab thing either, provided that it is relatively unambitious.
