Well, either we all pile into Magister's Accelerating Future, or we come up with something new, presumably.

If we had the traffic, we could start up one of those post-by-post threads we did a couple of. Those could be fun.

Can three or so posters hold down a post-by-post worldbuilding thread? I think we can, though it will have to be a premise that appeals to everyone. In the last collab worldbuilding thread (the one with the wagon train FTL and the interstellar tax agents) Siege and I were discussing how a gonzo post-apocalyptic world was the best way to balance the themes of fantasy and science fiction - maybe that can be a seed, along with the implied world of San Dorado?

Or yeah, Accelerating Future. I've remarked as much in its thread that the first few presentations of the universe weren't my cup of tea, but I'm still not uninterested in seeing what Magister has brought its shape up to.

I think three people is enough to get work done, especially if there's other people chipping in every now and again.

I'd also be interested in exploring the vampire kingdom ideas speaker-to-trolls and I talked about in the random ideas thread.

I'm up for either option, though regardless of the decision reached I'll probably still continue work on AF. The setting has changed in many ways (for starters I ditched the idea of a completely unified galaxy), but the beauty of it is that its vast enough to allow for a whole multitude of ideas and stories.

So it turns out I actually DID have a long absence after my last post, no internet or anything, which I forgot to mention.

Congrats to Booted on the Masters and on Millitum for all his life changing activities. It is great to know everyone seems to be doing well.

My opinion on any collaborative efforts is that I am not sure any of us could put in the time for more than a post by post thread, except Magister with A.F and maybe Siege with San Dorado. I always liked the post by posts in any case, the spontaneity was always fun.

That being said, I am slightly intrigued at the thought of developing the Vampire Kingdom idea.

I have always been here.... *Vorlon Warble*

...okay, more like I click the link to see if I have anyone reading fics or something, but that's not common. :P Plus as of late I've been busy with writing and gaming when I'm not at work.

I've been mostly on SB and playing World of Warcraft. Also afraid to flex my creative muscles after my last attempt devolved into a load of stupid offensive nonsense entirely by my own fault. Right now I have an idea for a Comix superteam, but I'm unsure whether to bother since this whole place seems to have become a ghost town.

As the sole contributor to Comix for like 2 years, that's my line.

I mean yeah sure, post. The Comix forum might be lonely and dead but it can still be a springboard to better things. Just make sure the idea stands on its own because I've like co-opted half your Comix canon on my ongoing ideadump.

Swing by the Advent Rey 2 postmortem too, if you dare. :D

I'm alive and well. Lots of college classes so I didn't really have much time for much else. Hopefully can get my groove back.

Hey Nox! Good to see you - and your new work. Starting your timeline from the 1st millennium is certainly ambitious :D.

Hey guys, how's it going? Been a long time.

Nice to good old guys still here.

I was reading a book, Spin, and was reminded of some work I was doing in Voidspace. Memories.

Time flies, huh. I enjoyed playing Mass Effect and can't wait to see Andromeda. Closest thing I know to some of your universes.

Anyway, keep it up guys. Regards.
