Well, Magister, if it was a hunt for something them I'm betting it's that large spider that's been hanging around my room for the past week. Been trying to chase the thing out but damn that thing can skeedaddle and hide pretty quickly.

You should get an aerosol spray and a candle and rig 'em into a flamethrower. That's what I did to this large mamma spider. She burned and fell into the toilet while her egg sac fell on the floor and spiderlings crawled out of 'em.

We doused the bathroom tiles with alcohol and burned them all.

EDIT:

Speaking of Weird Dreams, I dreamed about Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles last night. Cameron was doing battle to a rather aged Cromartie, and they degenerated to close-quarters hand-to-hand gunkata with shotguns before Cameron blew the dude's face off. Then Weaver, that firecrotched corrupt CEO T-1000, attacks and subdues Cameron and reveals to her that she made her, and then battlefield philosophy is uttered and Cameron sobs and calls Weaver her mommy and says that she wants to stop fighting and stuff.

Eh, I like spiders. That's the only reason I'm going through all the trouble trying to chase it out rather than going exterminatus on its ass--er, abdomen.

Okay, guys and girls and abominably androgynous abdead amazons, last night I had a dream worthy of a Shroomy or a Malakuso *does kata*... it was something that I had to attend an university lecture but it was at another faculty than the one I am at so I got lost on the way. Instead, however, I wound up helping Batman catch the Joker!

NO, SERIOUSLY! The Joker looked like he did in The Dark Knight. Batman, however, he had modified his batsuit to be even heavilier armoured so he looked more like Bat-Samurai.

I'm usually the type that doesn't remember my dreams after I wake up, but I remembered fragments of my dream when I woke up this morning.

I remember being in a Tau stealth or firewarrior suit (can't exactly recall which was which in the dream) double-wielding ARC trooper style blasters, something about French special forces, and dream me apparently playing a video game on a PC just before I woke up. Try as I might I can't remember how it went, but I hope it was absolutely awesome.

Last night I dreamt that I first went to see the Friday the 13th remake with some of my friends from college. Then I was in some kind of virtual reality game that also functioned as an exam of sorts, where I had to survive the apocalypse by going back in time to ancient Greece. And then, there was another virtual reality thing where I was one of the clones from The Island, but at that point I aborted the VR simulation because I wasn't sure I was going to survive.

I remember a horrifically beautiful dream I had last week or something.

I was on the yard outside my house, looking at the sky while fighter jets weaved contrails in the endless blue above me. Then a noise, like distant thunder, filled my ears and I turned and saw above my gate a MiG-21 that's on fire, crashing and burning and landing right there on the driveway so close by.

But I'm unhurt, and I watch it as the impact shatters its burning fuselage, and I turn up and see an... F-16 fly by to confirm its kill.

Then, later on, another plane lands in the garage in a brilliant explosion that throws shrapnel and fire everywhere. The scope of the sky battle intensifies, and I look up again and see more downed planes, and F-22s circling the clouds like sharks in the sky.

I decide to go to the basement, but as I run, either more planes crash or missiles start hitting around me. My home is blown to pieces, myself along with it, yet somehow I remain intact and after everything's been reduced to rubble, I continue to gaze up and watch the air battle unfold above me.

It was beautiful in a violently surreal kind of way, with a strange detached clarity complete with camera angles. Man.

EDIT:

Also the dirt and the shrapnel flew in slow motion.

Remembered a dream I had last night. It was unusual since, unlike most of the dreams I remember, it actually followed some sort of logical progression.

I dreamt that due to an inane MSN convo me and Shroom ended up doing a collaborative work with him as the writer and me as the artist. It was some sort of children's book parody featuring illustrations of every letter of the alphabet done in a childish kid's book style, but portraying really violent or morbid scenes (which sorta resembled this guy's stuff). It caused me and Shroom to be blacklisted by the Catholic Church and other religious institutions in the Philippines.

And, that was it.

Around a week ago, I had this dream where there was this girl who had a crush on me but she was also nuts so when she saw me talking to another woman she attacked me with a knife. I managed to flee and decided to learn knife-fighting just in case she would attack next time we met.

I had a weird and bad dream last night.

I was out in this plaza with a big fountain just by my home and it was night. There was another man out there, and I think he had a Starfleet uniform on (TNG version). At any rate I was fairly sure he was a time traveller and he was the Federation (TNG-era). He might have been interrogating me or something, I'm not sure, but he wanted something from me, and he was angry. I think he might have started out relatively mellow and got angrier as the dream progressed, but I can't quite remember. He was ranting about how crappy this world was. Then the dream took a really bad turn, as he started to torture me.

The torture was like this. He did something to me and I was in the body of a pigeon. Or at least I think that was how it worked. I think maybe he had some sort of device that would let me control the pigeon's body and be in its senses, via virtual reality. I don't know exactly, it was that sort of fuzziness you have in dreams. Anyway, I think then all of a sudden it was daytime for some reason, and there was this other pigeon there. It was white with little black spots and it had a wing that had once been broken at some point so it sort of dragged on the ground. It started coming toward and I knew it was going to attack me.

Now let me explain just so you get the context of this. I have a horrible phobia of pigeons. I don't know why, but the sight of them disgusts me, and I fear being close to them as I have an irrational terror that one of them might land on me or peck me or touch me. So for me this was Room 101: the thing that scares me so much I'll do or say just about anything just to stop it from happening to me. I was trying to back away but I wasn't fast enough and I knew the white pigeon would be on me any moment. I knew the future guy could stop it if he wanted to and I was screaming at him, begging him to not do this to me. There was no thought of trying to appear tough or anything, I was bawling like a frightened child. But I didn't know what he wanted, and I couldn't think of anything to say that would make him stop. The white pigeon came at me and attacked me and we were sinking each other's claws into each other's bodies and it was pecking at me and all I could do to survive was peck back. I didn't feel much or any pain but the horror at having the thing touching me was overwhelming.

That was it. This actually isn't too unusual: pigeons feature very prominently in my nightmares. But the time traveller was a really weird touch.

That's one hell of a nightmare you had there, Somes. Of course, the fact that the man torturing you was from the Federation (or possibly a very bitter time traveling Trekkie) and decided to essentially blame you personally for how crappy the world is was somewhat amusing.

I don't think he was blaming me for the crappy state of the world, or at least that wasn't the feeling I got. It felt more like he was using the situation as a convenient excuse to get it off his chest. What he wanted from me was something different, but I don't know what it was.

I actually ended up having a dream about AMY, where she was KILLING PEOPLE. She was walking down a street with Samuel L. Jackson, I think she was being pursued by Kill Bill characters. She happened onto a pedophile trying to molest street children, and she kills him by repeatedly throwing him through a car windshield. Then as I got groggy and was waking up, the whole thing was revealed to be something playing on the radio...

That was weird.

I was a goddamn SPACE MARINE except instead of being in SPACE HELL I instead was in a dropship that docked with some space science facility, and inside it we went BUGHUNTING and even though we didn't thank god for cold fusion, we were beset upon by goddamn motherfucking HYDRALISKS and fucking XENOMORPHS! We retreated, but before the doors could close a goddamn xeno leaped through 'em and glomped one of the Marines and to kill it someone had to bludgeon it to death with a shotgun's buttstock!

I dreamed that my sister took one of our cars, with me in it, and nearly killed shitloads of pedestrians on the sidewalk and got chased by a police jeep in a long-ass sequence of much mass destruction, like BAD BOYS, that culminated in the car flipping over in the mountains but luckily landing back on its wheels. We got busted, but my sister somehow managed to plead with the cop and we were shown mercy. I was more worried about daddy getting angry, but I was relieved because he was out of town for the day (which he really was in real-life). The car was totally trashed, as in all the paint was scraped off, and I totally hoped that I was dreaming but was totally worried that this shit just got real. It didn't.

A couple of weird one's last night: In one the members of my family, me and all of you were hanging out on a beach at night. I can't remember what my dream versions of you all looked like but I remember talking about forumy things.

In the other I was on a train that had been hijacked by a pair of small criminal, gun wielding children; who wandered around and fired at people at random and took hostages to intimidate the cops of the train. They fired at me and I took a bullet in the side but miraculously James Doohan (Scotty) showed up to help protect me, later we both got taken hostage by the kid's and we were all about to climb on top of the carriage of the coach I woke up.

He did not. The little punks had pistols; one was even dual weilding them.

Though I just figured out the place where I 'got shot' was totally the wrong place for the bullets fired at me to hit me but it is where i have an actually scraped from when I was hurrying about in the attic the other day. (owing to the water through the ceiling incident I related to you all in Daily exploits) So I probably rolled on it when I was asleep and it got incorporated into the dream by my brain.

This definitely deserves to be mentioned before I forget about it:

Sweet Jesus. Get this, in my dream somehow I'm back in the mental ward of the psychiatric center I dutied in all those months ago. And, worse still, is the fact that apparently this dream is an allegory for KOREA and somehow it has been decided to separate Korea into two - with people being exiled and thrown into the barren wastes of North Korea, which is somehow represented in a portion of the mental ward I'm in. Me, and some female friend, are in the fucking psycho-hospital with all those barred windows all looking like cages and there are shitloads of impoverished KOREANS all wailing and gnashing their teeth as they are torn from their loved ones and separated and stuff.

I decided that enough was enough and so I stand and make a speech, a speech decrying the inhumanity and injustice of separating Korea, great words condemning the atrocity that was unfolding, the horrible crimes against humanity being perpetrated upon the people suffering around me. I stand tall! I stand proud!

But, oh shit. Richard Nixon comes at me, and he's got a syringe filled with clear liquid!

And he looks like Jack Nicholson

He waves the syringe at me, I shield my female sidekick from his deprivations.

Richard Nixon Jack Nicholson asks me if I'm afraid, he nears me, and then he sticks the needle in his face and begins pumping his face full of... silicone? Collagen? Who the fuck knows? And he sneers and laughs and looks crazy. This act of cosmetic self-surgery apparently defeats my great speechifying.

Oh man, but it wasn't over yet.

As though that wasn't enough, as though Richard Nixon Jack Nicholson wasn't already bad, things get worse.

This African-American, she had to be African-American because she was black, comes in. She's barely clothed in rags and her vagina is distended and gaping. Then this other African-American, a man, comes in and his member is engorged and kept in that state by several rubber bands wrapped around it to keep the blood in, to keep it swelling, making it look like a fucking chorizo.

The couple proceed to graphically have sexual intercourse with each other, standing up in front of the impoverished Koreans. The Koreans are agape, petrified, astounded, stupefied and horrified and mortified and they are defeated. They lose.

EDIT:

THEN I WOKE UP AND IT WAS EIGHT O' CLOCK PLUS AND I WAS LAET FOR CLASSES!
