The Gloguk thread and everything related to it

Post by Heretic »

Right when we establish world peace in our own race, we join a group of others and go on a journey of conquest, war, and destruction...great.-Anonymous during the America-Gloguk conference

The covenant of alien races in the southern part of the galaxy, joined together in mutual interests. At least for 5 alien races, while all other races are under a participant status, though a more correct term is "second rate citizen".

Founded during the Aeiou-Varakeef contact, the Gloguk is an joint-imperialist representative democracy, which the Gloguk calls Parasitism, where the 5 Members, including humanity, make the important decisions, which the participants, or the enslaved alien races under the Gloguk, can take part in, though have a smaller vote. Thus, the Member Races are always a majority vote, while the Participant Races are always a minority vote.

The Gloguk military has both centralized and decentralized elements. The standing army is called the Lotrus, whose soldiers are stationed in the Galactic Stockpile, a humongous artificial sphere warehouse operated by ADnet, a computer participant of the Gloguk. While all the Members contribute to the war effort in supplies, manpower, and technology, Participants aren't obliged to by law, though there has been complaints by diplomats about blackmailing and rigged commands. Each race is required to have their own racial army, though. Even the benign and cuddly care bear-like Hytataras have an invasion force, though more for humanitarian efforts and pest control.

The economy, is ranged. There are both market and command economy elements in the Gloguk. The Gloguk as a government owns millions of acres of land across their territories, but in general, people live in a free enterprise system, unrestrained except by the local government. Race also plays a part. While ADnet totally controls all means of production in their territories, the Xopos think the idea of government intervention in economics alien.

The Member Races of the Gloguk are:
Varakeef
Aeiou
Kuffa-Gratee
Steel Scions of Chaos
Vgar Ki
Humans

And for the Participants:
ADnet
Hytataras
Virvariand
Sudians
Xopos
01D+45
Pkartrans
Jellics
Sniorians
Warfists
Actrians
Algolkinians
Shoggoths

The Steel Scions of Chaos

Post by Heretic »

Bring out the heavy metal and agitate the moral guardians.-A grim joke from a Scion Artillery Commander.

The Steel Scions of Chaos is a quasi-metallic race of humanoids. They have skin that have some attributes of metal, as it can be molded and bent, but is really a skin cell that contains metal molecules. They can change color of their skin by sending intense brain signals to nerves that connect to the skin. Their heads are shaped like a Corinthian helmet and have a razor teeth filled mouth.

They rule a planet 3000 light years away from Alpha Centuari called Canopus Mu, a red planet that has bizarre plant and animal life. The Steel Scions of Chaos, or Steel Scions for short, live in needle shaped skyscrapers that are a mile high and a mile in area. Communities can live in these cities inside skyscrapers. On top of these skyscrapers are huge green orbs that acts as a defense against enemy invaders, shooting huge beams of energy that can make craters in the solid ground of Canopus Mu. The Steel Scions have a diet consisting of fruit, flora, and flesh from animals.

This alien race got its name from its religion. They believe that they are descended from an ancient deity who created the planet with surrounding asteroids and breathed life in it. This deity was named Chaos, even though he isn't necessarily evil. The Steel Scions have a huge mythology revolving around their people and religion, as well as their philosophy and way of life. They have a priest-like class, except that they are called Cosmic Followers. This class is second to the ruling class, as they can spiritually keep the people in obedience to the Head Scion, the ruler of all Canopus Mu.

Their technological advancement is in debate by human scholars. The Steel Scions have advanced housing and exotic weaponry and ships, but they haven't advanced much in the agricultural and social science stage, relying on rudimentary farming, hunting-gathering, and a brutal coming to age hunt.

The origins of the Steel Scions of Hell is a mystery. The Scions themselves claim that they were made from a living super metal by their God, Chaos. Scientists theorize that they used to be a primate-like shelled creature in their early evolution and developed into a metallic humanoid. Of course, there are those nuts who believe that they were created by a long lost civilization due to a cloning mishap.

The Varakeef, now with the space power of the Aeiou, discovered the Scions 120 years before the encounter with Earth. The Steel Scions cautiously welcomed these strangers, and accepted the strange aliens' knowledge of space flight. The Varakeef realized that these Steel Scions are very warlike and can be used as front line fighters in the fight against rogue elements that surrounds the Gloguk. In exchange for joining the Gloguk, the Varakeef allowed the Steel Scions to have a little empire of their own, consisting of conquered planets not needed by the Glugok and not infested by individualistic natives.

The Steel Scions and the Aeiou have a special symbiotic relationship. When invading a hostile planet, Steel Scionic warriors are shielded safely in transport ships behind leviathans. After the initial space conflict is over, the Steel Scions drop into the atmosphere inside space pods. Upon hitting the ground, the Steel Scions start their savage conflict with any resistance, opening it for the Aeiou to take whatever resources it and the Gloguk need, and leaving the rest for the Steel Scions, who usually take slaves and loot. Even though other races can share this relationship, The Aeiou-Scion tactic is the most efficient and used.

The Varakeef

Post by Heretic »

Enslave! Conquer! Pillage! That is our only purpose in life!

One of the major players in the Gloguk, the Varakeef, with the help of the Aeiou, made the Gloguk, and are the leading parasites in the southern part of the Galaxy.

Physical Appearance
------------------
The Varakeef are a mix of insect, beetle, and some reptile. The closest resemblance would be the Xenomorphs from the popular Alien series, with a mix of the Tyranids from 40k, and a little sprinkle of Arachnids from Starship Trooper. They look like upright praying mantis with a more flat head and without the compound eyes, with arms and claws instead of front legs. They have a visible mouth that can shoot out a small tube that can open up and consume or hold small objects, though the mouth itself has teeth for eating larger objects. The whole body is covered with a glossy exoskeleton/carapace, which color is determined by genetics. Their thick long tail has a pincer on top, which was once a stinger, but now a bludgeon weapon, thanks to the shape of the Varakeef's extinct stinger. Genital organs are covered by the carapace, and can come out during sexual intercourse, thought the Varakeef won't explain how.

One of the most famous natural defense mechanism of the Varakeef is in their fat wrists. When agitated or threatened, the carapace flap that lays on top of the wrists rises, and a sharp skeletal scythe springs out. Its average length is a feet and a half, though some rare cases are even longer. This is a trait all Varakeef, except handicapped ones, have. Children do not have sharp ones until puberty, at age 12. Until then, all it the scythe is are small curved bones. These blades can be regenerated if cut off.

Diet, psychology, family structure
-----------------------------

The Varakeef's digestive system, as well as intestines, are all hardy, so the carapace insectoid can eat a wide variety of items. The main mouth can tear up even the toughest meat, with the help of the Varakeef's small tube mouth, which could spit out special enzymes that breaks down the dead organic material. The Varakeef can devour even the most toxic of items, as their digestive system is protected with chemicals that bleach the material before it gets absorbed into the cells. The Varakeef's usual diet is bones, hides, fish, meat, vegetables, and bugs. Fruits and sugars are a luxury for the Varakeef, who take them sparingly, as to not upset their stomach. If need be, the Varakeef are able to devour their skeletal blades on their arms, which can regenerate. Thus, death from starvation are low, though dehydration takes its place, as a Varakeef needs as twice as much liquid as humans do.

Varakeef psychology vary upon the individual, though they all exhibit a warrior instinct which can occur when in adrenaline or in face of a threat. When this instinct, or Wakkeef (warrior heart) takes over, any Varakeef will recklessly attack their target, with no fear or sense of pain. Strength increases, accuracy is sharp, and speed and endurance is inhumane. Unfortunately for foes, this mental state almost always happens during battle, making the usually benign insect/bettle race into a super soldier.

Varakeef family structure resembles human family structure, though differently. A Varakeef male will find a female, usually arranged by special departments, and they are given a family registration cube, which contains all the information of the two Varakeefs. Then, after a month of co-inhabitance, the mating begins. Going to another special department, artificial insemination occurs, with the male sperm artificially going into the egg. Then, the egg is placed into the female's fetus. Thus, the mating season.

Eggs form, and after laying inside special incubators or at home, the female lays on the eggs to keep them warm, while the male supports the female by bringing in food. The partners may gain a friendship and a trust between each other as they will be together for the rest of their lives, but sexual intercourse is very rare, and usually frowned upon.

After the eggs hatch, which varies from 3 to 3 1/2 months, the little Varakeef are slimy miniatures of the adults, though with a softer surface, stubby tail, and no wrist blade, as it is called. The hatchlings, usually varying from 3-5 a litter, keep warm with their mother, while the father feeds them soft or medium food. They live in this safety for 2 years, before being able to stand and act as a child.

The family consists of the two partners, and their hatch litters, though single hatchmates are allowed. Clans may be formed, but must be registered as well.

Government
-----------
The Varakeef are ruled by a warrior, called the Vasakeef, or "High Warrior." The Vasakeef is a soldier who fought 100 battles, and won half or more of them, and at least took part in a planet invasion. Then, the possible candidates fight it out in gladiator tournaments, pitting each other in no rule fights. The champion of the tournament is crowned Vasakeef after a feast that lasts 2 days. There, after 20 years of ruling, the old Vasakeef will give his Celestigen (a super rare and resistant metal) staff to the new one.

The ruler's role is to listen to representatives of certain counties, declare war, and sign laws. They are also a commander-in-chief, literally strategizing while in the combat zone. Luckily, the Vasakeef is protected by a nearly impenetrable energy shield, and 40 elite NyanKeefs, super elite warriors.

Military and weaponry.
-------

From a young age, the hatchlings are indoctrinated by their parents of the Varakeef path, a dogma of loving hate and war, as well as listening to stories and lore of heroes who fought against impossible odds (like a lone Varakeef who took down a rogue Aeiou leviathan with only his acidic spit). At age 5, Varakeef hatchlings will be sent to special schools underground to be forced into a strict training regiment, both males and females. For 6 grueling years, they take extreme physical training, such as a 11 mile run, followed by swimming a mile lake under 6 minutes, and then do a synchronized military drill with 50 pound staffs. Those that can't keep up with this dangerously extreme training are sent to an easier one, demoting them to mere Fassa, or "fighter", who are basically army, compared to the marine equivalent Keef, or "warrior". The Keef cadets also learn tactics, weapons training, driving basic vehicles, and communicating with other Gloguk races, all while indoctrinating them with ideal notions of fighting in the frontline, brave as their heroes, saving the weak humans, or surpassing the super warriors of the Scions.

After 6 years, the Keef cadets are tested in real life simulations. They are split into two teams, given stun weaponry, depending on their skills, and a week's ration. Then, they are sent into a mock terrain with a river, forests, a small mountain, and a battle-wrecked human city in the middle. They must score points by securing holographic items, escorting robots acting as hostages, leadership, and plain fighting. All these are kept track by drones that follow each player from a distance, becoming invisible so that clever foes don't use the drones to pinpoint their enemies. These drones also drag incapacitated cadets out of the battlefield if they are shot and stunned.

After a week, the remaining cadets are sent to graduate and become full fledged warriors, choosing either to stay as warriors, or choose a trade and live a quiet life peacefully, until they are needed as reserves or defenders. Failed cadets can retake the training, join the Fassa ranks, or learn a trade and live a peaceful life until needed.

The Fassa, which acts as the cannon fodder of the Varakeef, is for the handicapped and weak. It is far less demanding, with their training regime equivalent to the U.S. Marine course. Focusing more on weapon and accuracy, the Fassas are the snipers, pilots, and support unit in the Varakeef army, always either behind the Keefs, keeping flanks clear and destroying flying targets, or in small groups, doing special operations that the more vicious Keefs have a hard time doing. Fassa, though weaker and inferior in rank than the Keef, can learn to control their warrior instinct, enabling more patience and concentration when tasked with special covert operations.

The Varakeef use gauntlet guns, a gun where instead of firing it from a trigger under the gun, one places a hand inside the gun and fires it from a trigger inside. what is unique about the Varakeef's gauntlet guns is that there is a slot right in front of where the wrist is suppose to be, enabling the Varakeef to fight with their wrist blades without any restrictions. This is the standard gun for all Varakeef soldiers. Fassa are also trained to use human and Steel Scion weaponry, though, and the Keefs use bigger gauntlet guns. A typical Fassa's weapons are his tail, teeth, claws, wrist blade, acidic spit from the small mouth, and a gauntlet gun.

In terms of vehicles, the Varakeef use small single wheeled ovals with two heat beams on the side.. They usually rely on the Aeiou and humans to supply them with mechs and crawlers. In terms of spaceships, their ugly shaped "dung" ships and three-cylinder ships are adequate for self defense and exploration, but not enough in massive scaled battle

Economy
-----------

The Varakeef by themselves have a self-reliant economy, hunting and mining only for themselves. Mining, big game hunting, manufacturing big weaponry and buildings, and military training are the only organized industries in the Varakeef, the rest are done by clans or families for themselves, unless they sell it to another clan in need.

The Varakeef in terms of Gloguk are the main parasite race, strip mining useless planets, moons, asteroids, virtually any satellite. After stripping their metals and minerals, the Varakeef will put a dyson sphere on the core, if the stripped satellite is a planet. There are laws to parasitism, though.
If there are vegetation only and no animals or sentients, the miners must check if any of the plants are edible or with medical properties, and harvest them, thus turning the planet into a farm.
If there are vegetation and animals, then the miners must check if any of the species are beneficial in any way, and also see if there are any important plants. If so, the planet becomes a slaughterhouse, zoo, world barn, and farm.
If there are sentients, check if they have strong individualism. If not, enslave them. Give them gifts, and be kind to them. If the sentients have strong individualism, give them technological advancements, and ask them to submit to the Gloguk. They may join in years to come, after hitting they learn to go into space.
If the civilization on the planet is past space age, invite them to the Gloguk, in exchange for an annual amount of resources.

Re: The Vgar Ki

Post by Heretic »

These are the Reptillians?!-Ambassador Andrew Randall when encountering the Vgar Ki for the first time.

The Vgar Ki are a primitive yet highly intelligent bipedal reptiles that have adapted alien technology for their own use, using their own models alongside their ancient tools. They live in the mostly arid and desert planet of Jhba, where there are few open water sources, but enoughs underwater sources for basic herding.

Appearance
About 5 and a half feet tall, these lizards have thick, clawed feet and hands (they have thumbs, of course), and brittle and rough scales. Their long snouts have stubby horns on top, and their eyes gleam yellow. Scale color may vary from climate, genes, or prolonged emotions. They shed their scales annually, which has some manufacturing purposes.

Diet
Mostly carnivorous, the Vgar Ki evolved from small rodent and bug eating desert dwellers, into tool-wielding big game hunters. Living in a hot planet, most creatures spend the afternoon resting and procrastinating in holes in rocks or in underground, which the Vgar Ki can hunt easily. There are huge predators that are also hunting in the afternoon, and during the early ages of the Vgar Ki, they fought with these monsters for food resources and mating territories. Now, with advanced technology, the Vgar Ki began hunting these predators for easy food now. There is little plant life, and the sentient reptiles would mash these flora into a paste for them to easily consume. Recently in history, the Vgar Ki have begun rudimentary herding with featherless, flightless birdlike creatures called Naked Dodos by the humans.

Water is extracted by wells, plants, liquids from animals, and "water rocks", or hollow mineral formations that trapped liquid during their quick formation (mostly metamorphic rocks).

Society
Most Vgar Ki, despite the growth and increase contact with alien knowledge and technology, still live in partly isolated walled communities or huts. But even these backwater communities have technology brimming with them. There are clay adobes brimming with energy shields, hide tents being supported by composite fixtures, and inside even the most primitive shack there will be a computer of some sort. Schizo-tech at its best. The old and new live side by side, this, added with the Vgar Ki's universal curiosity, ensures that technology in general is never a political issue.

The religions of the Vgar Ki is many. There are traditional shamanistic ancestor worshiping cults to alien monasteries, but the biggest religion is a syncretic one, which combines the alien religions and ideas with the Vgar Ki's beliefs. Juthazlam is a monotheistic religion which combines Islam's familiarity with the desert, Judaism's mysticism, Christianity's Golden Rule, and the Aeiou's self-motivational spirituality, all wrapped around the Vgar Ki's mythology and spirit worship.

Government
The United Elite, as the government is called, is a oligarchy of powerful chieftains and warlords that make choices concerning military, galactic, and anything else lifechanging for the Vgar Ki. Other than caretaking the Vgar Ki race as a whole, the United Elite have little power concerning the Vgar ki individuals, whose lives revolve around tribes and mayors.

Military
The Vgar Ki, like many aspects of their civilization, mix their primitive weapons with high tech machines. Though the United Elite control standardized weapon factories, most Vgar Ki settlements make their own weapons, and bring them along. There is little of a standard army, usually just a cluster of militias, volunteer forces, and private armies punched together under a higher command, given government weapons alongside privately owned weapons, and having a same interest. There is no unit, but the army is split into factions, tribes, and clans. The most popular weapon is the Vgar Ki Rifle, a metal-stamped battle rifle which has a stock similar to a Heckler and Koch G11, except more squarish, and straight. It fires long cylinders with an explosive tip. In terms of vehicles, the Vgar Ki use armored mounts, such as Hajjaks, a armadillo-shaped insect whose flat and nerveless back can house both troops and heavy guns.

The Participant Races

Post by Heretic »

The Participant Races
Jellics: The Jellics are basically big, floating Cuttlefish (aren't they adorable?) with a strange civilization. These peaceful Great Dame sized airborne cephalopods reproduce like crazy and in large numbers (12 liters a year, 15-25 a liter). They reproduce so much that their main sole use for the Gloguk is to populate unwanted planets, have sex, give babies, and export their shredded skin, which can be burned and hardened into a special substance used for ammunition.

ADnet: Owner of the Galactic Stockpile. Adnet is a system that administers the amount of supplies, surpluses and technology placed inside the Dyson sphere warehouse. Adnet also handles all robotic military needs for the Gloguk.

Hytataras: A small bearlike race that acts as the small, friendly, G-rated alien race amidst the parasitic Gloguk. The Hytataras are great diplomats, especially for primitive races that the Gloguk encounters. They are the most benign race of the Gloguk, keeping things optimistic and having spiritual therapy as an export.

Virvariand: Bipedal turtles who always build. They build, build, build. You name it, they build it.

Sudians: They are Neanderthalic humanoids, muscular and covered with hair. Their main purpose is manpower. Like the Jellics, their inhuman attribute is to reproduce in the millions, but then turn half of them into soldiers, supplementing the Gloguk's already numerous Lotrus.

Xopos: They are basically big balls with stump legs. Their mouths are on their feet, bringing in the nutrients they need. Their skin has many sensories, so no face needed. They survived as a sentient race as they are at a symbiotic relationship with a semi-sentient tentacled race, who supply them with food and materials in exchange of excrement that is used as carbs for them. This octopi race is a race not to be trifled with, and can be trained into killing machines. Thus, the Xopos are their handlers.

01D+45: A virtual dimensional holographic figure. He (or it) is an uber ancient construct (almost a thousand years after Dhothugkma) that resides in a small circular disk on top of a spider like automaton inside an ancient temple. He commands a vast army of ancient mechanicals that is able to reproduce themselves. His name has a meaning. O means Offgrehit, which means life, 1 means the number of him, and D means Dhee, which is his dimension. The + is the adding of this dimension, and 45 means the category he is in under an ancient measurement of sentience in this dimension.

Pkartrans: Savage war-loving brutes that look like buffed skeletons. They wield strange Gatling Guns and explosive projectiles. They only come in when they deem a battle worthy. They usually fight in hand to hand brawls with the Steel Scions for the choice of the battle (both want the bloodiest and biggest).

Sniorians: a black X shaped race that dwells in a creepy, black rock covered planet that has continual thunder storms. They are used for interrogation and psychological warfare.

Warfists: A dog race that help the Kuffa-Gratee farm the immense farm worlds. Like the Jellics and Sudians, they reproduce fast and in many numbers, and they need little food, so they are ideal for the farmland.

Actrians: A drooping, grotesque, quiet humanoid race that live in secluded, scary, "haunted" abandoned places and worlds. They have sagging faces built into their long necks. They are harmless unless attacked. As their environment makes them indifferent even under the most imminent doom, allowing them to become strategists under the most worst conditions and situations.

Algolkinians: A spider race that live alongside the Sniorians. They command the huge planet strippers, which needs alot of manipulatives to drive efficiently. They also make thick iron tubings (their thread, which is big), which is used to make the Gauntlet guns of the Gloguk's Lotrus.

Shoggoths: Named after the horrific race of Lovecraft's mythos, the Shoggoths are oozes that devour dead organics, and inorganic material. They can live in virtually all environments, including space. Some can grow to the size of Earth's moon. Thankfully, they are sentient, and strangely have a sense of right and wrong, so they do not mindlessly devour everything on sight. They are needed for clearing out wastelands and incoming asteroids, as well as stripped planets that have no other use. They can also do mild production, making materials no stronger than steel, and they can only make pure carbon, giving the task to the Virvariand to add the needed elements to make whatever material the Gloguk needs. Virtually everything about the Shoggoths are contradictorily, including their name.

Dhothugkma: Unknown individual Participant of the Gloguk. The only known thing related to this Participant isn't even a Dhothugkma. It is a human-size, black upright slug that has moving skin stripes, yellow stripes moving in random directions across the pitch black skin. it speaks all languages, and refers to it as "Ghat". Though it rarely tells much about Dhothugkma, or anything related to it, Ghat does bring in squads of stone carved golems with strange red markings all over them. These golems have a huge tube in the left arm and a rock machete on the right. The golems seldom use the tube, as it is a gun that can shoot out a huge continual beam of plasma that evaporates anything in its path, up to 6 miles efficient. Despite them seeming to be made out of rock, these golems can withstand a bunker buster, a powerful weapon affordable to even the smallest third world planet. These golems are stocked in the Galactic Stockpile, waiting to be activated.

Re: The Gloguk thread and everything related to it

Post by Heretic »

Lotrus
When talking about the Gloguk, a poll recently showed that the image most people conjure up is human solders in camouflage and wielding big machine guns, Steel Scions screaming blasting away with their little Blasorik Orbs, and Varakeefs shooting curved Gauntlet Guns; all of them packed together in a circle, fending off hordes of imaginary defenders-turned-attackers from all sides, with a Vgar Ki holding up the Gloguk flag, a black supernova symbol on a red background in the center of the defensive circle. This is the backbone of the galaxy's parasite. These hardy beings fight in the name of planet devouring and conquest.

The Lotrus is the army and marines of the Gloguk. All the soldiers are stationed in barracks in the Galactic Stockpile, or the orbiting artificial barrack planets near it. There, the soldiers rest, train, and test new equipment. There is never a time the Lotrus is not needed, and rarely has a whole Region been inactive for over two years.

There is no leading Member race on providing field troops (the exception of Kuffa-Gree, who are just floating gasballs, though their military consists of mechs), though each is specialized in their own little way, and each commands a number of Participant races under them during war.

The military level is broken down like this. Note, all the officers are for human examples. There are other names for them in alien terms, but to simplify it, everything is in human:

Region: 200,000+ units, lead by a Strategist

Army: 100,000 + units, led by a General

Corps: 60,000 + units, led by a Specialist General

Division: 20,000 + units, led by a Major General

Brigade: 5000 + units, led by a Brigadier General

Regiment: 3000 + units, led by a Colonel

Company: 250 + units, led by a Captain

Battalion: 100 + units, led by a lieutenant colonel.

Platoon: 60 + units, led by a Warrant Officer

Squad: 12 + units, led by Corporal to Staff Sergeant

Fireteam: 6 units, led by Lance Corporal to Sergeant

Fire and Maneuver team: 3 units, led by the highest officer, unless incompetent

Member Races usually stick with their own kind up to Battalion, though with Participant support, at the start. But then, after days of warfare, squads and platoons begin to mingle, mixing racial advantages, and veteran fighting, turning the newly compacted formation into a deadly fighting force, though at the end of the war, the races go back to their respected racial barrack planet, or in a section inside the Galactic Stockpile. There are special, interracial units, like the notorious Gambling Warriors, who fight against devastating odds, or the extinct Blazing Aliens, whose last photograph during the battle burned the image mentioned earlier, with their famous circle formation on top of a small mound, against feral hive beasts.

The standard equipment for a Lotrus soldier is their specialized weapon, an assault sidearm of their race, a melee weapon of their race, and armor. For example, a human sniper may have a H&K RPG Rifle, a GH2 Automatic Pistol, a combat knife of some sort, and body, joint, and head armor; while a Varakeef Fassa has a JurfJurf spitter, a Rheke Squeek, his wrist blades, and a pad of extra armor. It all varies depending on the type and race of soldier.

Every race has their own advantages and disadvantages, as well as strategy, tactic, and equipment differences. This is for the Member races on ground combat. Participants will be discussed later:

Humans: Arrogant, reckless, ruthless. The Homo Sapiens prefer urban conflict, following their ancestors' step right before the Contact. Though capable of epic battles with thousands of platoons jammed together, doing all sort of massive squad tactics, they prefer fireteams, skirmishing in cities, supported by airstrikes and other assorted goodies. They like handheld, ammunition fed guns that shoot fast. Simple. Done. They also have plenty of aerial jet fighters, something that most races got rid of as extinct. Also, their "Human Spirit" gave them a narrow view of the world at large, so they usually fight in impossible odds, and can actually win. Unfortunately, as humans are fragile in body and heart, they can't really take much. They make up for this in massive and mixed firepower.

Preferred Strategy: Patrol
Preferred Tactic: Fire and movement
Preferred Weapon: Anything that shoots out bullets and shoots them fast.
Advantage: Fucking Crazy
Disadvantage: Cthulhu pops his face up, and everyone dies. Humans in general can be scared shitless

Vgar Ki: Though they follow their more superior friends, most notably the small tactic fighting of the humans, the Vgar Ki have their own tricks. They integrate modern laser technology with ancient tribal weapons, and with that comes new tactics. The Vgar Ki can modify any weapon, be it M1 Garand or ancient Varakeef Gauntlet Guns, and turn it into a lethal weapon. Their tactics vary up on the situation and their weapons. If an enemy charges from one side, the Vgar Ki would all stand in a file and rank formation, and gun down the incoming forces, charging back to reload while the next file shoots their turn. By far the Vgar Ki are the most adaptable of the Lotrus army, willing to take up arcane weapons and tactics, and succeeding. Thing is, they don't really have much creativity, and rely on mashing together weapons from everyone to make something of their own. Also doesn't help if they snort cocaine during battle, as they aren't much for head on attack, and more on patience and cooperation, as well as their hunter instinct, which makes them great hit and run troops.

Preferred Strategy: Intelligence Gathering
Preferred Tactic: Guerrilla Warfare
Preferred Weapon: Anything, as long as they can use and modify it.
Advantage: Send them off with muskets, and they could still kick ass.
Disadvantage: Sometimes, the weapons the Vgar Ki put together blows up in their face.

Steel Scions of Chaos: Warriors to the bone, these metal humanoids fight either in the open, or behind cover, standing. Their Blasoriks rip apart foes as their spears and daggers clash and chop enemies that they encounter down the corner. Their exoskeleton armor, as well as their weak ceremonial armor, strikes fear in their enemies and brings dishearten allies together. They may not have the vehicular firepower of humans, or the tactical flexibility of the Vgar Ki, but damnit, they are always in the front lines, making sure they keep the kill/death count separated in the millions.

Preferred Strategy: Offensive
Preferred Tactic: Attrition (not necessarily human wave)
Preferred Weapon: Their Blasorik Orb and metal spears.
Advantage: Tough, fearless, and Army Strong
Disadvantage: If the Steel Scions are by themselves in all aspects in warfare, they can't do much from counterattacking artillery or airstrikes from space.

Kuffa-Gratee: They have too many disadvantages. They don't long arms or strong gripping hands, so other than pushing, they have no martial arts, they are weak, they can die in too many environments, and they are just too slow in movement to do any warring. But, they didn't join the Gloguk as a Member for nothing. The Kuffa-Gratee have something that makes them so dangerous, that in an ground warfare, played by any rules, they always win. It isn't their huge titan mechs that they drive, or their huge earth shattering swords that their mechs wield, but their main weapon. The Kuffa-Gratee's natural defense is to exhale poisonous gases. Societal evolution made it so that they have weapons that can destroy all organisms in a planet. Though they have so many weaknesses, they make it up with pure WMDs of chemical proportions. While they joke about their weaknesses at the bar, they are shriveling up little children in planets that were labeled for genocide. It can make a Steel Scion squirm.

Preferred Strategy: Genocide
Preferred Tactic: Bombardment
Preferred Weapons: Farting toxic gases and shooting Chemical weapons from motors
Advantage: Genocide saves money
Disadvantage: Genocide breeds hippies and whiners.

Aeiou: 3.5/4 of the Lotrus's star fleet is captained by an Aeiou. 3.5/4 of the Lotrus's star fleet is built by the Aeiou. The starfaring race is the best of the best in space combat. Give them a flagship, two frigates, 20 patrolships, and 30 squadrons of starfighters, pit them against a flagship, two battleships, 100 frigates, 400 patrolships, and zillions of starfighters, and the Aeiou would win. Now, the Aeiou ground forces are more for defending critical points, relying on small arms weaponry and how fast they run. Thankfully, they have a martial religion to make up for it, giving them Rambo and Arnold Schwarzenegger attributes. Still, if need be, the Aeiou could just blast their enemies with orbital nukes from heaven.

Preferred Strategy: Surprise
Preferred Tactic: Trench Warfare
Preferred Weapon: Something that won't go through walls of spaceships
Advantage: They make Captain Kirk cry.
Disadvantage: The Aiao Principle aside, they make the French laugh.

Varakeef: The icon of the Gloguk. The insectoid sentients that actually have individual minds, setting them apart from the Tyranids and Arachnids of human pop culture. Despite their individuality, virtually all of them prefer human wave attacks, gunning down enemies up close with their hand engulfing Gauntlet Guns, and then hurtling themselves, wrist blades springing, at the enemy when they are close enough. This is due to their cultural indoctrination. The Varakeef are mass-producing warriors, ready to stare the enemy in the eye. They also have a impressive variety of bio-engineered super weapons, such as huge arachnids that are clothed in beam cannons, and dragonflyish monstrocities that shoot out acidic feces. The Varakeef are more biopunk if anything else. If it lives, they can make it a weapon. Unfortunately, most of these take a long time to breed, so heavy support is in short supply, and they have to rely on other races to provide them with the heavy guns. Still, what they lack in firepower and production speed they make up with sheer numbers. One sexual session produces up to 100 eggs, usually with all of them surviving. With that much in number, the Varakeef can mobilize an army that reaches to 10,000 for one battle. Hell on the Milky Way was caused by the Milky Way (sorry for that lewd joke)

Preferred Strategy: Offensive
Preferred Tactic: Human Wave, and Rank and File
Preferred Weapon: Their Gauntlet Gun, and their wrist blade.
Advantages: There are so many of them, that to be conservative, please look at any LOTR battle. Also, the fact that they can eat you scares enough people to shit.
Disadvantages: No hope for them if thousands of HE grenades were chucked all over the place. All the Keefs are packed together, while the Fassa, though more better equipped, cannot fend off heavy military might.
